Terms of Service

Welcome to Lovinia. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Lovinia mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using Lovinia, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old to use Lovinia. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 21 or older and that all information you provide is accurate. We may require identity verification to confirm your age.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in your profile. You may not create more than one account or use another person's account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe contain false or misleading information.

3. Subscription & Payments

Lovinia requires a monthly subscription of $29/month. Key details:

•Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

•Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

•You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Payment & Subscription section in your profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

•We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

•Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Dinner Bookings

Lovinia arranges group dinners at curated restaurants. When you book a dinner, you agree to the following:

•Cancellation policy: You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled dinner time.

•No-show fee: If you fail to attend a booked dinner without cancelling at least 48 hours in advance, a $100 no-show fee will be charged to your payment method on file.

•You are expected to arrive on time and behave respectfully throughout the dinner.

•Lovinia does not cover the cost of food or drinks at the dinner. You are responsible for your own tab at the restaurant.

5. Matching & Chat

After a dinner, you can indicate interest in other attendees. If both parties express mutual interest, a match is created and a private chat opens.

•Chat windows are available for 7 days after a match is made. After that period, the chat expires unless both users have exchanged contact information.

•Lovinia is not responsible for the outcome of any matches or interactions that occur on or off the platform.

6. User Conduct

You agree to treat all users with respect. The following are prohibited:

•Harassment, abuse, threats, or intimidation of any kind.

•Discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any other protected characteristic.

•Soliciting money or commercial services from other users.

•Attending dinners while intoxicated to the point of disruption.

•Misrepresenting your identity, age, or intentions.

•Any illegal activity conducted through the platform.

7. Content Policy

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, bio text, etc.), but grant Lovinia a non-exclusive license to display it within the app. You agree not to upload content that is:

•Obscene, sexually explicit, or pornographic.

•Violent, hateful, or promoting harm.

•Infringing on someone else's intellectual property or privacy.

•Spam, advertising, or promotional material.

We may remove content that violates this policy without notice.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we determine it is necessary for the safety of the community.

Upon termination, your profile and data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any outstanding fees (including no-show charges) remain payable.

9. Disclaimer

Lovinia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, the availability of dinners, or the quality of matches. We do not conduct background checks on users. You interact with other users at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lovinia and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damages related to interactions with other users, missed dinners, or personal injury.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Lovinia in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Lovinia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
